That is a question I am asked often, is it possible to run more than one business and be successful? That is a question I have saw brought up many many times and I think the answer really depends on the individual.
My husband is involved in a few different network marketing companies. It works well for him.If someone is not interested in one, they may be interested in another, is how he looks at it. We both have always believed in multiple streams of income and have worked very hard to get where we are today.
Several years ago who scrapbooking took off like crazy, we were involved with a scrapbooking supply company that was built around a party plan scheme. Anyone who knows me, will tell you parties are not my thing, and my husband sure is not going to do doing any parties.
The company had a great compensation plan and we knew we could run the business solely online and do well. We built a website and sold products like crazy from the website. We also were able to build a nice size organization.
The company ended up going out of business, and we lost what we had worked so hard on to build. So, we moved on to bigger and better things.
I really believe if someone can keep up with working more than one business they can be successful.
I got an email a few days ago, from a woman who made a comment about my husband and I being involved in more than one business. I think she was trying to give me a slap in the face, however I did not let it get to me, as I have said many times that I am all about multiple streams of income.
As long as money in coming in each month and you are making the money with a legit business, who cares?
Many successful network marketers have more than one business and most have switched companies a few times. Some times it takes a few companies to find the one(s) that are best fit for your lifestyle.
Now, I do know a few people who are involved in multiple companies, and I always wonder how they can keep up with them all. I think they rep products for one company, recruit for another, and use the others as back-ups. I may be wrong, but I am not sure how you could work 5-7 companies full time and not burn out.
